Overview

The funeral is an important opportunity to pay tribute to someone you loved. It is a time for relatives and friends to gather and tell stories, share memories, acknowledge loss and support one another. We are open-minded in providing a more personal arrangement to suit your needs and reflect the life of your loved one.

We've worked hard to make the surroundings as comforting as possible for you during this difficult time.   Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home is situated on beautiful historic Main St., the heart of downtown Newmarket .  The building was originally constructed in the 1870's, as a funeral home, and has gone through a series of renovations to make the building more comfortable for the families we serve.

The funeral home contains a large chapel with a seating capacity of 125 persons, with overflow accommodation which can accommodate over 200 persons.  We offer large decorative visitation rooms in order to accommodate various needs.  We also have smaller rooms to offer a more private, intimate setting.  A large reception hall is available upstairs for hosting services and luncheons and Roadhouse & Rose is handicap accessible for special needs.

The building is adorned with traditional wood and decor.  The rooms are highlighted with beautiful antiques, traditional furniture and lighting and offer a decorative and comfortable atmosphere.  The chapel was built in the 1920's and historic church-style oak pews.  We are proud to offer a traditional, comfortable atmosphere for the families we serve, while offering the modern conveniences a family may need.
