Quote Builder - Graveside Service

Professional Service Charges

This includes the necessary professional service charges to carry out a Graveside Service, including Funeral Director's supervision throughout arrangements and final disposition, set-up at the cemetery and direction of the service including use of Funeral Home staff.

Basic Professional Fee $270 (required)

Professional consultation with licensed personnel, which may include, but is not limited to professional advice on options to meet your needs, including essential services relating to disposition, planning and scheduling of services and advising of possible governments. A basic professional fee is payable whenever we provide services to you.

Co-Ordination of Rites & Ceremonies $540 (required)

Co-ordination of all rites & ceremonies, before, during and after they have been provided, including services and supplies provided by us, as well as those provided by third party suppliers, such as death notices, clergy, etc.

Documentation $150 (required)

Completion and filing of all documentation necessary to carry out the services and supplies requested, including, but not limited to, death registration, burial permit, an unlimited supply of death certificates, etc.

Transfer (2 x $100 - from place of death to Funeral Home and transfer from Funeral Home to Cemetery) $200 (required)

Quantity

Transportation of remains from the place of death to the funeral home and transfer from Funeral Home to Cemetery. Please note that this fee is based on an one attendant transfer (i.e. hospital). If a 2 attendant transfer is required, please add an additional $100 (residence, nursing home, etc.).

Staff for Ceremony $500 (required)

Staff to coordinate and oversee the ceremony.

Vehicle Charges

Vehicle charges necessary to carry out Graveside Service, including the necessary procurement of documentation to carry out final disposition, service vehicle for set-up and transfer of deceased to cemetery, service vehicle & necessary specialized equipment for transfer of deceased from place of death to Funeral Home.

Transfer / Service Vehicle for Transfer of Deceased from Place of Death to Funeral Home $55 (required)

Use of transfer / service vehicle & necessary specialized equipment to transfer deceased from Place of Death (hospital, nursing home, hospice, retirement residence, private residence, etc.) to Funeral Home.

Funeral Coach for Transfer of Deceased & Set-up at Cemetery $400 (required)

Use of transfer / service vehicle for transfer of deceased in casket for final disposition (burial). Note: A Funeral Coach / Hearse is available for an additional $345.

Administrative Vehicle $75 (required)

Use of administrative vehicle for local procurement of documents (burial permits, cemetery documentation, clergy transportation if necessary, etc.) that is necessary to carry out final disposition.

Cash Disbursements

Cash disbursements are required costs which are paid out on your behalf as a convenience and included on the funeral services contract. These include, but are not limited too, registration fees, clergy or celebrant honorariums, coroner fees, cemetery or crematorium fees, newspaper notices and catering fees.

Registration Fee (mandatory) $30 (required)

Registration of the passing under the Vital Statistics Act in the Province of Ontario. This registers the death with the government and enables the Funeral Home to obtain the necessary permits to carry out cremation or burial.

Clergy or Celebrant Honorarium (required) $300

This is an honorarium paid to either a clergy person or a celebrant for their services at the ceremony.

Cemetery Interment Fee (required) $0

This is the fee paid to the cemetery for the opening & closing of the grave. Every cemetery has their own by-laws and pricing levels - please inquire as to what these fees are.

A casket will need to be selected from our Casket Price List. Depending on the by-laws of the desired cemetery, a burial vault may also be required. (Please refer to the Burial Vault section of our Merchandise section for more information.)
