Quote Builder - Traditional Funeral Service with Burial

The Traditional Funeral Service Package with Burial includes one day of visitation, a funeral service in either the Roadhouse & Rose - Playter Chapel, or a church, hall, etc., followed by burial or entombment.  A casket will need to be selected from the Casket Price List.  Depending on the by-laws of the cemetery, a burial container may have to be selected from the Burial Container Price List.  You are welcome to host a reception in our Reception Room following the service.  This facility is offered free of charge for the Traditional Funeral Service Package.

Professional Service Charges
Basic Professional Fee $270 (required)
 Professional consultation with licensed personnel, which may include, but it not limited to professional guidance and provision of options to meet your needs, including essential services relating to disposition, planning scheduling of services and advising regarding possible government benefits.
Co-Ordination of Rites & Ceremonies $540 (required)
 Co-Ordination of all rites & ceremonies, before, during and after they have been provided by us, as well as those provided by third party suppliers, such as death notices, clergy, etc.
Documentation $150 (required)
 Completion and filing of all documents necessary to carry out the services and supplies requested, including, but not limited to, death registration, burial permit, coroner's documentation, etc. We also provide you will an unlimited supply of death certificates.
Transfer (2 x $100 - to place of death and to Cemetery) $200 (required)  Quantity 
 Transfer of remains from place of death to Funeral Home - this is based on a one attendant transfer during regular business hours. For transfers that require 2 attendants (residences, nursing homes, etc., please add an additional $100)
Embalming $200
 Embalming is a process of sanitation, restoration and temporary preservation of remains. This is not legally required but mandatory if there is to be an open casket visitation.
Staff Services for Visitation (based on two visitation periods) $300  Quantity 
 Staff to coordinate and oversee the visitation at our premises for two visitation periods of up to 2 hours. If Visitation takes place at an off site location, a flat fee of $300 will be charged. Please enter the quantity for the amount of visitation periods you desire.
Staff Services for Ceremony $500 (required)
 Staff to coordinate and oversee the ceremony (funeral service, memorial service, celebration of life, etc.) at the Funeral Home. If the ceremony is off-site, the fees are $725 for for a funeral service.
Staff Services for Reception $200
 Staff to coordinate and oversee the reception (hostess, preparation, clean-up, etc.). This is a mandatory fee if a reception is to be held at the funeral home.

Facilities
Use of the facilities at Roadhouse & Rose for visitation, reception and service, and required sheltering of remains.  
Facilities - Basic $100 (required)  Quantity 
 Use of our general common areas, parking lot, public washrooms, cloak rooms, heating, lighting and maintenance.
Facilities - Preparation / Sheltering of Remains $200 (required)
 Facilities to prepare, embalm and/or shelter the remains. This charge applies whenever the deceased is in our care in our facility for any purpose.
Facilities - Visitaiton (based on two visitation periods) $400  Quantity 
 Designated facilities used for two visitation periods for a maximum of 2 hours. Please enter the number of visitation sessions you would like (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.)
Facilities - Ceremony $375 (required)
 Use of Facilities at Funeral Home for sheltering of remains until final disposition takes place.
Facilities - Reception $200
 Use of facilities for a reception following the ceremony (funeral, memorial service, etc.)

Stationery Package
Our Stationery Packages include a personalized guest book, thank-you / acknowledgment cards, either 4-sided personalized colour memorial folders or personalized prayer cards, a personalized multi-media slide show and a presentation case.  
Stationery Package #1 - Basic $250
 The Basic Stationery Package includes a guest book, 75 memorial folders or 100 prayer cards, thank-you cards, a customized multi-media tribute and a presentation case.
Stationery Package #2 - Deluxe $360
 The Deluxe Stationery Package includes a guest book, 100 memorial folders or 200 prayer cards, a memorial portrait 8.5 x 11, thank-you cards, a presentation case and a personalized multi-media tribute which can be played at the visitation, ceremony and reception.

Vehicles
Use of Funeral Home vehicles in order to carry out funeral services and final disposition.  These charges are based on less than 25 km.  Additional mileage charges for beyond 25 km are charged at $1 per km.  
Funeral Coach (Hearse) $400
 Use of Funeral Coach (Hearse) to transfer deceased from place of service to place of interment (cemetery or mausoleum).
Limousine $400  Quantity 
 Use of 7-Passenger Limousine for transportation of family / pall-bearers to place of interment (cemetery or mausoleum), picking up family on day of service (if desired), etc.
Lead / Clergy Sedan $175
 Use of Lead / Clergy Car to lead funeral procession to place of interment (cemetery or mausoleum) and if required pick up clergy / celebrant before & after service.
Administrtive Vehicle $75 (required)
 Use of Administrative Vehicle for the local procurement of documents, registration of death, etc., in order to carry out funeral arrangements and final disposition.
Service / Transfer Vehicle - From Place of Death $55 (required)
 Use of service / transfer vehicle & any necessary specialized equipment to transfer deceased from place of death (hospital, residence, nursing home, retirement residence, etc.) to funeral home.

Cash Disbursements
Cash disbursements are required costs which are paid out on your behalf as a convenience and included on the funeral services contract.  These include, but are not limited too, registration fees, clergy or celebrant honorariums, coroner fees, cemetery or crematorium fees, newspaper notices and catering fees.  
Registration Fee (mandatory) $30 (required)
 Registration of the passing under the Vital Statistics Act in the Province of Ontario. This registers the death with the government and enables the Funeral Home to obtain the necessary permits to carry out cremation or burial.
Clergy or Celebrant Honorarium $300 (required)
 This is an honorarium paid to either a clergy person or a celebrant for their services at the ceremony.
Cemetery Interment Fee $0 (required)
 This is the fee paid to the cemetery for the opening & closing of the grave. Every cemetery has their own by-laws and pricing levels - please inquire as to what these fees are.

Newspaper Notices / Obituaries
Newspaper notices are placed in any newspaper you desire, at cost, by the funeral home.  These are only estimates, based on an average 30 line notice without a picture. .  The newspaper will provide an exact cost at the time.  The prices are also based on a one-time insertion.
