Obituary for Edward Telesphore Latour

Edward "Ted" Latour passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on January 15, 2017 at 80 years of age. Loving husband of Lois Latour. Beloved father of Vicki (Jim Watson), Jeff (Nikki) and predeceased by the late Ryan Latour. Proud Papa of Meaghan, Kelsey, Martin and Rebecca. Survived by siblings, Norman, Vic, Doris, Betty and Pat and predeceased by the late Ernie and John. Ted was employed as a truck driver his entire life, retiring from Yellow Motor Freight. Since his retirement he spent time with his family, supporting his grandchildren through their endeavors. Ted also enjoyed his time at the coffee shop with the "old boys", telling stories, meeting new people - the odd time enjoying his coffee. He enjoyed spending many hours in "dads workshop". The family would like to thank Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston and Southlake's ICU. A special thanks to nurses Janis, Rudy and Elizabeth. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Wednesday January 18, 2017 from 3-4 p.m. A funeral service to follow, starting at 4 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Fund.
