WAGNER, Maatje - Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at the age of 71. Loving wife of Ron King. Beloved mother of Edward Wagner, Maja Wagner and the late John Wagner and dear stepmother of Tamara Bricknell. Proud grandmother of 12 wonderful grandchildren. Cherished sister of Jan and daughter of the late Jan and Greta. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket for visitation on Sunday March 12, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Dear all, we wish you a lot of strength and love in these difficult times. We will miss Tante Maja (sister of our grandmother, Hennie) a lot, and her beautiful cards she always sent us full of stories how everything was going but mostly expressing so much interest in us. Mum,Margot Maja eldest sister was most upset by the passing of Maja, so sudden and not long after the death of fellow sister Hennie.I recall seeing Tante Maja when I was young in Holland many years ago and she was a fun and colourful lady.
