Passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Hill Hospital in Richmond Hill, ON on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Catherine and brothers Kevin Dalton (Joan) and Derek Dalton. Former husband and cherished friend of Norma Dalton Cairns. Devoted and loving father of daughter Noel (Steve) formerly of Grimsby and son Stephen (Gillian) of Aurora. Extremely proud grandfather and confectionary provider to his grandchildren, Mitchel, Leah and Luke Csermak and Grace and Bennett Dalton.
Moving to London, ON, Canada at the age of sixteen, John was forever an Englishman and maintained his charismatic charm and subtle accent throughout his travel career in Missouri and Illinois before returning to live in Southern Ontario. John had an adventurous spirit tempered by a fear of heights and a creative soul that treasured handmade gifts by both his children and grandchildren. He loved nothing more than to soak up the sun and in later years to tour around town in his electric wheelchair.
