Weeks, Arthur Robert passed peacefully from lung cancer on October 31st, 2017, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, in Barrie, at the age of 57. Son of Irene Elizabeth (Board) Weeks, and late Robert Arthur (Bob) Weeks, loving brother to Deborah Smallman (Weeks) and Jennifer (Weeks) Chennette, brother in law to Ken Smallman and Lanny Chennette, courageous father to Cory Arthur Robert Weeks, Kyle Edward Cecil Weeks and Arthur Maurice (AJ) Weeks, father in law to Jennifer (Bryant) Weeks, grandfather to Marshall, Miya-Rose, Macie-Ray, Gavin, Sienna, and River. Fondly remembered by his nephews Robert, Jason, Brandon and Justin. Art will be sadly missed and forever remembered for his uplifting sense of humour and warm and loving nature. Heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff and doctors at the Royal Victoria Hospital whose gift of caregiving shone the light of dignity and kindness through some very challenging days. In keeping with Art’s wishes, a celebration of life will take place on November 11th, 2017, at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home on Main St., Newmarket, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
