Dwight and I shared a grim, indoor office at Ryerson for a number of years. I was an active alcoholic for most of that time - one of the twins asked one morning: "Harry, have you been drinking this morning?" It was 10:00 am and I had not but the smell from the night before lingered. Dwight was a very tolerant room-mate but he annoyed me a bit when he would announce with glee "Interest rates have gone up again." (I had an open mortgage at the time!) I will always remember Dwight dressed in his motorcycle gear; also his cocoa cup which he never washed out - it was slowly becoming smaller and smaller with accumulated cocoa.

Elaine, I am so sorry to hear of Dwight's passing. He was such a kind and gentle man. I miss spending time with those who could always put a smile on my face. His interest in my "renovation progress" every other weekend was so kind. I am so sorry for your loss. Colleen (PSW)

Well, Dwight... what can I say. We will miss you so much. You are a super friend. We were always laughing when with each other. Lots of little pranks have been pulled on each other. We will miss your big hugs, your laugh, your jokes.. I will never make your cake again. No one else would enjoy it more than you. Will think about you Jan. 1st each year as we do the Polar Bear Club Swim.. we will always remember on that day that you always said "our ice is in our drinks." I will think of you when ever I have a corn dog. Now you can have all the end cuts of prime rib that you want. We could go on and on with wonderful memories. RIP our dear friend.
