Obituary for Sarah Louise Stevenson

Sarah Louise Stevenson
It is with much sorrow that we announce the very sudden death of Sarah Stevenson at Southlake Hospital in the early morning of October 31, 2017 at the age of 24 as a result of Neisseria Meningitidis. Beloved daughter of Ian and Janet Stevenson and sister to Andrew, Sarah was a graduate of Huron Heights High School in 2011 and went on to obtain a BSc degree in Criminal Justice at Liberty University in 2015. During her life she played a variety of sports with her greatest love being ice hockey playing with the Aurora Panthers from Novice to Junior level. She went on to play for the Liberty University Flames hockey team and contributed to their first ever National Championship in her senior year. Sarah will be sadly missed by her Parents, Brother, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and so many beautiful friends. We’d also like to thank the Southlake Emergency staff who did their very best to save Sarah.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation in Sarah’s memory may be made to the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital http://www.hollandbloorview.ca/tribute who specialize in a wide range of pediatric services including the largest concussion centre in Canada.
